Doc Edge Festival
19th – 26th June 2022
There’s no doubt that the documentary film genre has risen in popularity.
In 2022 there will be a spectacular line up of over 113 films, showcased over 40 days at at three venues
- The Capitol Cinema (15 – 19 & 24 June),
- Silky Otter (15 – 19 June), and
- The Civic Theatre (22 – 26 June)

New Zealand International Film Festival
28 July 2022
Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival will open in Auckland at the majestic The Civic on July 28.
Having weathered two Covid-19 affected years, the 2022 edition will be a more focused version, shorter in duration in the main centres and some regional centres, fewer venues and fewer films, but with a commitment to retain the high quality of programming and calibre of titles which are at the heart of the film festival.
Save your appetite, because once again in August 2022 you will be eating your way around the heart of the city. In celebration of Auckland’s Restaurant Month, hundreds of participating Auckland restaurants will be putting on special dining experience- Stay tuned for the delicious line up of dining offers.
